Would love your input to help me choose between these two photos for the next photography exhibition…
Back to candid photos as I love this medium.
The past eight weeks have included photos for you to choose from as I’m taking a rest from writing Indonesian travel articles. Your feedback has been very helpful but I also find it intriguing why someone chooses one photo over another.
Have you been to a photography exhibition since COVID struck? If so, what drew you to that particular exhibition?
Image Earth Faces was the last photography exhibition in 2018 pre-COVID and hosted by the beautiful Erika from Piano B – Event Project Management. The stunning medieval Palazzo Sersale in the village of Cerisano, Calabria in Southern Italy, is a superb venue for any function but especially for an exhibition. The world has changed so much since 2018 with travel only a distant memory.
Organising a new portfolio for an exhibition is tough but there is also a lot to organise. It will be helpful if you comment your thoughts on some of the following decisions that I need to make…
Choose a theme
- Urban exploration?
- Abstract and Conceptual
- Street art?
- Country or continent?
- Social issues?
Choose a Medium
- Black & White?
- Frames? Frameless glass?
- Number of photos?
- Size of photos to exhibit?
- Orientation (landscape or portrait)?

Please help me choose one of the following photos to include in the exhibition and let me know why you decided on that photo. Your choice printed on canvas, framed, glass, other?
Appreciate any help!
