Can you guess in which continent this photo was taken?
I started this photo challenge a couple of months ago to break up my travel posts a little and decided to make the challenge as simple as possible to have a little fun guessing. If you would like to have a go at continuing this along, then:
- post one of your favourite photos each week for as long as you like
- your photo can be from any time, any place, and of anything, so start delving through your old or new chest of memories
- post a photo without any explanation or hints
- ask your readers where the photo was taken
- make the challenge as easy or as hard as you wish and don’t forget to nominate someone each Sunday.
Post whatever and wherever you wish, although please link back to my Image Earth Travel site so that I know you accepted the #photochallenge. Don’t stress if you don’t have time, or are not interested in this little challenge. Why not pass this challenge along to someone that you know has the time to join in?
It’s difficult for me to choose a photo to share from Image Earth Travel or Nilla’s Photography, as this challenge is also not to add words or give any hints about where you took the photo. So, here goes…
Today, I’m nominating the intriguing travel blog Lookoom, which offers posts in French and English for week 14 of my guessing photo challenge. Check out this super cool blog site that shares travel photos and stories.
So, don’t forget to leave a comment below and let me know if you can guess where I took this photo – think this is an easy one to guess.
Visit Nilla’s Photography for more global images. More posts at Image Earth Travel.
Haha! So it was old Albion… (Didn’t look at the comments before. Cross my heart)

Ha, ha, Dorset’s stunning Jurassic Coast. Loads of spectacular walks…when it’s not pouring with rain. 😉

The walks must be splendid. I also have this “fantasy” of walking the cliffs of Cornwall. Who knows when?

Cornwall is gorgeous – fell in love with this county in 1985 and visited many times since. Maybe it’s also the ruggedness and the piracy history that appeals. 😉

Question: are there reasonably good accommodations along the way? In other words if one walks a few hours along the cliffs, it’s easy to find a decent inn to spend the night and then move on the next day?

Depends on where along the coast you’re walking. The day walks are easy and have pubs/inns along the way but the longer more rugged walks I don’t think have much accommodation.
Thinking of doing one of these walks? 😉

I have been thinking about it. But I’d better hurry. My back is not improving. Which does not hinder walking fortunately, but driving or carrying a backpack for instance is out…

Yeah, it’s hard on the back carrying a pack but I’m still going to persevere. 😉

Absolutely love dogs and that is the reason we took him on. Although it was supposed to be 4 weeks, then tickets were booked and suddenly it became 5 weeks and 5 days.
And so it begins…

Yeah. So it does…

Not quite sure. The cliffs? People look clothed and the small houses? Dover? England? If that is so, “continent” would be a tad misleading. LOL.
Hopping to Lookoom. Sounds Lebanese.

It’s a cool site.

I’ll have to look it up on the map. My English geography is sketchy. I know where Scotland and Wales are and that’s about it. 😉

Dorset! I went there many decades ago. We are fine thank you. Cats a bit reluctant to go out today in the snow! Just 5 inches.

The first time I flew to Australia I remember being struck by the red soil. But I see that I would be selecting the wrong hemisphere! No idea!

Ha, ha, indeed it is the wrong hemisphere. I took this one in Dorset, England.
Hope all is well with you and your babies. 🙂
