Happy New Year! 2023 Greetings!

Thanks for the year that was…

Happy New Year everyone and I hope that 2023 is exceptional for you!

Saying goodbye to another year, 2022 is both exciting but also sad.

Why?

Exciting because 2023 is a mystery. Unknown. No one knows what 2023 holds for any of us, globally.

Sad because another year has left our lives. Time hurries on and it’s beyond our control.

“Go now my friend, it’s later than you think” – author unknown

Listen to this…

Have a listen to the lyrics of Pink Floyd’s brilliant and timeless Time from The Dark Side of the Moon album. I’m sure this will plant the wanderlust seed for you in 2023. Well, it did for me anyway, at a very young age.

Leave Time running in the background and let the lyrics sink in…

Did you know that The Dark Side of the Moon album by Pink Floyd will be 50 years old in 2023?

Why write this post?

Anyway, back to why I’m writing this post.

It’s not so much to dwell on time and 2022 but to thank each and every one of you, for the outstanding support you’ve given me during 2022 and also over the past years.

Without you, this site would not exist, so thank you!

For 2022

Let me know:

  • How you celebrated New Year’s Eve 2022, did you party?
  • Make it to midnight or flake out before the clock turned over another year?

In 2023

I’m interested in what you have planned for 2023 if anything.

So:

  • Are you a resolution maker on the first day of each new year and do you stick to your resolutions?
  • What plans do you have for 2023?
  • Any travel this year or are you working?
  • Any goals for 2023?

I know, too many questions, but I am interested in what you have planned for 2023 and if you would like to share, I’m all ears.

Wishing everyone the most amazing year for 2023!

    1. Happy New Year! Hope 2023 is an amazing year for you and your family!
Yeah, it’s scary how old that Pink Floyd album is and I still have the vinyl. 😉
Sadly, your comment is the first to hit my trash folder for 2023!
I’m hoping our paths will cross…you never know. 🤗

    2. Haha. Maybe your trash folder has a sixth sense? 😉
You still have the LP? Hmmmm. I suspect we may not be that far apart in years… LOL.
Best wishes for 2023 as well. We never know when paths cross. We have actually walked in the same footsteps. In different times. Just a matter of Sync I guess…
      Take care Nilla…

    3. Wow, this comment went into Trash also – WP is getting a tad annoying as it only does this to you!
Yeah, I got my first LP at age 8. Probably not far apart. 😉
Yes indeed, very spooky we have walked in the same footsteps, just didn’t know it at the time.
      Thank you et vous aussi.

  1. Happy New Year, to you both, Nilla. A thought provoking post as we really don’t know what’s going to happen in 2023 due to political unrest not just the Covid issue. Whatever happens I hope it brings whatever is important to you x

  2. I have become the most boring person on the planet. No resolutions, slept through midnight. My travel plans involve sitting in a chair enjoying other people’s travels. everyone I know seems to be on the move right now. I can’t keep track. No goals. At my age you live “in the now”! But happy travels to all who are able. Getting to know the planet and it’s diverse people is a wonderful way to live.

    1. Happy New Year!
As long as you’re happy in what you do, regardless of what it is, then who cares? 😉
I try and always live in the now, but work tends to get in the way. I wasn’t born rich.
Thank you for leaving me your thoughts – always appreciated.
