Decided to bus it from Pucón to rural Chillán not only to break up the route to Santiago, but also to see the famous Mexican Murals and experience the renown Termas de Chillán (hot springs) in this area.

Four days at sea on the Navimag ferry through Chile’s stunning Southern Patagonian Fjords anyone?
After a frustrating wait of 6 days, the ever-elusive Navimag ferry finally arrived in Puerto Natales, for the journey through Chile’s Southern Patagonian Fjords!
Another border crossing, but this time it’s from Puerto Natales in Chile to El Calafate in Argentina, for the main reason of visiting the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier and not just for the K9 capers. Everyone must see this amazing and still-advancing glacier at least once in their lifetime!
Another long bus trip with a border crossing from Argentina in to Chile – Ushuaia to Puerto Natales. Who would have thought, I would encounter the fruit police as my welcome to Chile?
